Samsung Released Their Most Robust Smartwatch To Day, The Galaxy Watch!
Just when you thought a certain piece of tech was put to rest, Samsung comes and shows it can give it a new coat of paint. With the tablet market at its lowest, the release of the Tab S4 was surprising but no one expected a return for the Android smartwatch. Alongside the Galaxy Note 9, Samsung unveiled the next generation of their smartwatch lineup, The Galaxy Watch.
This version of the watch will be available in two different sizes, a 42mm and 46mm with the smaller offering Midnight Black and Rose Gold color option. The 46mm will be available in Silver and both have interchangeable straps for customization.
Design wise it’s very reminiscent of older models with the look and feel of a real watch, rotatable crown to navigate the menu and IP68 rating for Water and Dust Resistance.
Pairing the watch with Samsung’s ecosystem of devices is seamless and will work with Health, Samsung Pay, Bixby, SmartThings and more. LTE connectivity also returns with Samsung. It will be available in all major carriers later in the year but Bluetooth models will release with the Note 9 on August 24th.
The Bluetooth 42mm version will come in at $329 and the 46mm for $349. Customers who also pre-order or order the Galaxy Watch before September 8th will receive a free Samsung Watch Band.
