Along with the Galaxy Note 5 Samsung announced a new Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. It’s a step up from the original S6 Edge but the question you probably have is “What’s new about the S6 Edge plus?”
S6 Edge Plus Has A Larger Display
The S6 Edge Plus upgrades the display to 5.7 inches with a 518 PPI pixel density. The display is still curved from both sides hence the Edge name in the S6 Edge Plus
The S6 Edge Plus Packs Some More power
The S6 Edge Plus now boasts a newer Eyxnos 7420 Octa-Core processor (Same as the Galaxy Note 5) and 4 GB of ram which should keep things running nice and smooth
New Edge Apps Updates
The Edge apps have been updated to now allow you to add any app you want on the side. It’s a nice addition and similar to what you could do with the Note Edge. It’s good to see they are still looking to develop more with the Edge apps.
Fast Wireless Charging
Fast Wireless charger is now included in the S6 Edge Plus which will charge the phone up with the proper fast wireless charging pad in just about 2 hours.
That about rounds up the differences with the S6 Ege plus. The video will give you some more details but my question to you is. Do you think the S6 Edge Plus should be the new Galaxy Note? The specs are so similar to the Note 5 that if you just add the S-Pen you have a Galaxy Note. Share your thoughts on that below.
