Will the Nokia 9 Pureview bring Nokia back to being the smartphone camera king?
So it’s been a while since I’ve had the opportunity to review a Nokia smartphone excited to check out the Nokia 9 PureView one of its big features is something that was a big feature during that Windows mobile phase in that we have a five-camera system setup on here. I’m excited to see how this performs! The five cameras are set up with two of them being RGB while three of them are grayscale to produce the best image quality possible—and with a reputation Nokia that is a lot to live up. We haven’t see the Purview name from them since the Nokia 808 Pureview and the Lumia 1020. And not to be left out there is a 20-megapixel front-facing the camera for the selfie fans out there.
While cameras are the big feature that a lot of people talk about today in smartphones, this is still a smartphone, so let’s talk about specs. The Nokia 9 Pureview comes with a 6-inch pOLED display, Snapdragon 845 processor while not the latest processor from Qualcomm still packs a punch when pair with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage for which you get 118 GB of space is available, and 13 GB reserved for the Android OS.
The only port you’ll have is a UBS type C, and you’ll need to use the included adapter if you want to use traditional 3.5mm headphones. There is also wireless charging and works sho with wireless chargers that support Qi charging technology.
The Nokia 9 Pureview is also an Android One phone, which means that the software experience will be as close to stock as possible and will receive the latest updates faster than other Android devices. I’m looking forward to seeing how Nokia the original kings of the smartphone came do in the world of Android.
