LG G3 vs Galaxy S5 will battle for best smartphone in 2014
LG and Samsung battled just a year ago for top spot in the Android smartphone world and the are at it once again with the release of the LG G3 that goes right up against the Galaxy S5 from Samsung.
The LG G3 is packing some great hardware with a 5.5 inch QHD display, 13 Megapixel camera with OIS, 4K ultra HD video recording and laser autofocus. Pushing those specs is a quad-core processor (Snapdragon 801) and either 2 GB of ram and 16 GB of storage or 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Both variants come with a removable 3,000 mAH battery and micro SD card support up to 128 GB of storage current but is future proof for up to 2 TB of storage. The LG G3 has a “floating arc” design with thin bezels, rear key design and brush metal back.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 has a 5.1 inch 1080p HD display, 16 megapixel camera with 4K video recording, quad-core processor (Snapdragon 801) and 2 GB of RAM. For storage there is 16 GB and 32 GB version each with micro SD card support for up to 128 GB of storage and a removable 2,800 mAH battery. Some unique features of the Galaxy S5 is its IP67 water-resistant and dust proof rating, USB 3.0 connection and heart rate monitor.
