At CES 2016 Huawei début a new premium tablet the Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0. The MediaPaad M2 10.0 comes with a 10 inch IPS display with 1920 x 1200 resolution. Viewing angles are pretty good from both sides from our quick hands on with it.

One of the biggest features Huawei is touting is the 4 speakers on the MediaPad M2 10.0. Two on the top and two on the bottom. They partnered with Harman Kardon to give an immersive audio experience. I wasn’t able to fully put this to the test since we are  on the loud show floor but I could tell just by what I could hear that the audio packs a punch.

There is also a stylus called the M-Pen available that is separate from the tablet and provided 2048 points of pressure and works similar to the S-Pen you find on the Galaxy Note series but doesn’t have the exact precision of the S-Pen.

For internals the MediaPad Pro 10.0 packs a Huawei custom Kirin 930 Octa-core processor with options for 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage or 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage with expandable storage available via SD card.  There is a 13 megapixel camera in the back and 5 megapixel front  facing camera, fingering sensor on the front bottom and 6,600mAH battery. The MediaPad M2 10.0 also sports a aluminum and glass style finish to give it a premium look at feel. For software you have Android 5.1 with Huawei’s unique Emotion UI skin on top of it.

The Huawei MediaPad M2 10.0 will start at $349.99 and will be on sale starting in Q1 2016 and will be available in the US and International.
