Today Alcatel announce their latest release for the US the Alcatel 3V. The 3V is an unlocked smartphone that will work with US GSM carriers and will be priced at $149. For that price, you get a 6-inch 2K display with an 18:9 aspect ration at 2160×1080 resolution. Dual camera setup with a 12 MP main camera, 2MP secondary depth camera, and a 5MP front-facing camera.
The Alcatel V3 uses their new SIMGANIC design which balances between organic and simplistic design. This combined 2.5D contoured edge glass with curved back for a more comfortable fit.
“The Alcatel 3V reflects our continued commitment to making great mobile technology available to everyone,” said Eric Anderson, General Manager of Alcatel North America. “Now you can access elegant design and premium features like 2K displays, dual rear cameras, and facial recognition technology for a price that was previously unattainable to smartphone customers on a budget.”
The Alcatel 3V is unlocked to GSM networks and will be available in the U.S. in Spectrum Black for $149.99 on Amazon next week, rolling out to Best Buy and Walmart stores in the coming weeks.
