Alcatel’s First Android Oreo (Go edition) Smartphone Adds Appeal to Ultra-Affordable Devices With Premium Features and Design
Alcatel recently announces their first Android Oreo Go Edition Smartphone the Alcatel 1X. The 1X is a budget smartphone that offers premium features for a $100 price point. The Alcatel 1X comes with 5.3-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of ram, fingerprint sensor, 8 MP rear camera with a 5 MP front camera with flash for both. The phone comes with 16 GB of storage with SD card support up to 32 GB. It will be unlocked and available on Amazon for $99.99 starting next week.
The aim with the Alcatel 1X is to get budget consumers an affordable phone with a version of Android optimized for it, not break the bank but provide a quality experience. There is definitely a market for this and the 1X will be a great addition to it.
