Today Verizon officially released Android 4.1 Jelly Bean for the Galaxy Nexus. Jelly Bean is the latest version of the Android operating system released by Google which has been on the GSM versions of the Galaxy Nexus for quite some time now. Some key features are updates to notification controls, better user experience with Google “Project Butter” graphics software and Google Now. If you haven’t been prompted for the update you can go to settings -> About Phone and then hit system update. It took awhile to get here but at least its finally here.
