Verizon announces LG Enlighten

Today Verizon announced the LG Enlighten. A messaging focused android smartphone. This mid-rang smartphone boast a 3.2 inch touch screen display, 800 MHz processor, Full physical QWERTY keyboard, 3.2 megapixel camera and Android 2.3 gingerbread. Looks like a good phone for those who like to text a lot. The phone will be available online beginning September 22nd and in retail stores September 29th for $79.99 after at $50 mail-in-rebate. • LG Enlighten will be available for $79.99 after a $50 mail in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. Customers will receive the rebate in the form of a debit card; upon receipt, customers may use the card as cash anywhere debit cards are accepted.
• Customers will need to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk plan beginning at $39.99 for 450 minutes per month and a smartphone data package starting at $30 monthly access for 2 GB of data.
• Verizon Wireless Mobile Hotspot data plans are available beginning at $20 for 2 GB.
