The New iPhone 5 Announced. Better Than The Galaxy S III?

iPhone 5 vs Galaxy S III thumb The New iPhone 5 Announced. Better Than The Galaxy S III?

That is the question of the day. Is the iPhone 5 better than the Samsung Galaxy S III? With Apple announcing the new iPhone 5 today the comparison can finally begin on this battle based on facts and not rumors anymore. Apple’s latest iPhone improves a lot in the hardware department which includes a larger 4 inch display with higher resolution, Apple A6 dual-core processor, 4G LTE among other small hardware bump ups. Some are saying that they are disappointed by what’s been announced in similar fashion a few months back with the Galaxy S III’s announcement.

I will say while I didn’t expect too much in terms of hardware other than a catch up to the competition, I am disappointed with the screen size at just 4”  and not at least 4.3” and less than HD resolution and no NFC support is a huge let down to the current mobile payment movement that is coming. I’m not sure how I feel yet about the change from the 30 pin doc connector to the new “lighting” connection. Some will definitely be frustrated as they will need an adapter for future accessories. Apple just needs to go Micro USB with the rest of world and this was a prime chance to do it and they missed.  Check out the tale of the tap below and our video wrap up and comparison.
