Zune HD Facebook App Review

Here is finally and fully functional Facebook App for the Zune HD. Development has been very slows for the the Zune HD with just Microsoft so far providing the apps we got the Twitter App earlier and now we are given the Facebook App which gives you the basic functionality for facebook in a nice Zune HD interface. This gives you sort of a preview of what apps are going to look like on Windows Phone 7 series phones.

XBox Live Comes to Windows Phone 7 Series

It has been long rumored and wanted and now we are getting it. Windows Phone 7 will ship with support for XBox Live. What Microsoft has shown so far in Mobile World Congress is that it will show you avatar, spotlight updates, people can “nudge” you to play a game and you recent achievments. No games were demoed yet but i’m sure they are to come. Check inside for pics.

Windows Phone 7 Series Hubs integration

Windows 7 Phone 7 offers a new way of integrating several features and services into just a few central areas to access and better manage. Theses areas are called Hubs. The Hubs are broken down into 5 groups, People, Pictures, Office, Music+Video and Games. These groupings allow much better management on your phone. For example the People Hub will have your recent contacts, your info and a tab for all your social networking streams. The picture tab will have all of your photos and a social network stream as well with phone and will have direct Facebook upload capabilities. Check the pictures inside.

Microsoft Annoucnes Windows Phone 7 Series

At Mobile World Congress Microsoft has announce the new Window Mobile 7 or “Windows 7 Series Phone”. Microsoft has taken ideas from the Zune HD interface and put it into its new mobile OS. The looks give you the “Zune Phone Feeling” from the panel interface which is customizable to your liking. They have integrated Xbox Live games, full Bing search and map capabilities, improvements to the browser which is based off IE for a more desktop like experience. They have also improve outlook which has a much different and fluid look to it. Everything is very streamlines and has a nice “Zune HD” interface look and feel to it.
