Final Thoughts

The Sony DSC 0 is a solid upgrade for the latest T Series.  It takes great pictures and solid HD video for post on the like YouTube and other video service sites.

The touchscreen is bright and very responsive and the menu system is very easy to use. One of the best features is  the inTelligent Auto feature that will adjust the settings to take the best picture in the environment you are in on the fly.

The Good

  • 12.1 MP Camera
  • 16:9 Widescreen shot option at 9MP
  • HD Movie Mode with 30 minutes of recording time
  • Stereo Sound
  • Thin and light profile with a lot of features

Some Drawbacks

  • Front cover can feel cheap since its plastic
  • Zoom toggle feels to be in a weird spot

 

Overall this a great camera to purchase for those who are looking for an all in one package. If you are looking for high resolution pictures, HD recording and a touchscreen in a slim package then this is the way to go.

unveiled yesterday their latest updated to the T- Series the DSC- and DSC-0 which are 12.1 megapixel cameras with screen interfaces and also now have recording.  Read on for specs and link to gallery.

  • 5.2 oz and 15 mm for T70  and 16.3mm for T900
  • F3.5-4.6, 4X optical Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar zoom lens, 35mm equivalent to 35 – 140mm
  • Optical Steady-shot stabilization and ISO-based Anti-Blur
  • 3-inch touchscreen LCD with 230,000 pixels in T90 and 910,000 pixels in T900
  • Records at 720p with MPEG-4 codec
