HTC and T-mobile have finally released the update for the myTouch 3G slide to bring it to Android 2.2 or Froyo.

So all android users on T-Mobile (except you G1 users) are going to all the goodies of Android 2.2 on their devices. HTC was clear on it android updates and myTouch users were left wondering but not anymore as they will get getting soon Android 2.2 Froyo.

The long rumored “spiritual successor” to the Sidekick series has arrived with the My Touch 3G Slide. Which is a full QWERTY keyboard Android 2.1 device coming to T-Mobil in June. Engadet was able to play with one for awhile and this is their initial thoughts.
