The phone will come with the same specs as the original Nexus S but will take advantage of Sprints 4G WiMax network, mobile hot spot ready and will have tight Google Voice integrated service as you will be able to use your Sprint number as your Google Voice number without have to port the number over. OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – March 21, 2011 – Sprint (NYSE: S) extends its 4G device innovation lead once again with the upcoming availability of the 20^th 4G device and fourth 4G phone, Nexus S™ 4G¹ from Google™.  Coming to Sprint this spring, it will also be able to take advantage of the unprecedented controls and services enabled by Google Voice™ integration built into the Sprint Network.

Google Maps Navigation has been giving stand along GPS a run for its money and they are adding on to a product that is still in beta but solid. The app will automatically generate alternate directions based upon current and historical traffic data. All you need to do is update your Google Maps and your all set.

Sony Erricson has finally come official with the the long rumored PSP Phone now officially name the Sony Xperia Play.  The phone will be an Android 2.3 Gingerbread powered phone with an official PlayStation certified slide out controller.

One of the more interesting details of the phone is that it will be coming exclusively to Verizon in the US which is out of the norm for Sony Ericsson which  usually favors the GSM side is going CDMA on this one and with Verizon.  I’m wondering if its due to the known network issues with AT&T and their data network that they wanted to go with a more reliable data network even though its not as fast as AT&T.  Gamers are going to want consistent connections and any interruption in that is not going to fly so I can see Sony Erricson reasoning for this.

Should be shipping in March and Verizon says “early spring” for a launch time window.

Pictures and specs have surfaced of the new touchscreen blackberry which is codenamed malibu. Check out the specs inside.

The specs here are for a CDMA version so we have to assume Verizon or Sprint will be getting this but I’m sure there is a GSM version will be on tis way as well.  Also even though the specs are high this is still slated to be an entry level Blackberry.

The other half of the Galaxy Player lineup the YP-GB50 is the smaller of the two Galaxy Players. Coming with similar specs such as a 3.2 megapixel camera GPS , Wi-fi, Bluetooth and access to the android market all in a smaller package. No word yet on US availability or pricing.

Check out the Samsung Galaxy Player the YP-GB1 which is a Android based PMP with a 1 GHz Samsung hummingbird processor, 3.3 megapixel camera, VGA front facing camera, wi-fi, GPS, Bluetooth and running on Android 2.2 with Touch Wiz.  It will come in 16 GB and 32 GB capacities. No word on availability yet.

The Motorola Cliq 2 is an update from the popular Cliq 1 with some physical and software updates.  The phone is Android 2.2 and has an update version of MOTOBLUR that runs smoother and cleaner than the previous version.  The phone has a 1 Ghz processor with a 3.7 inch qHD display and a newly designed keyboard layout that will make type a lot easier. Let’s take a quick hands on look at the Samsung Nexus S.

The Nexus S is a the next phone in the Nexus line of phones from Google and developed by Samsung. There are a few reviews out giving positive reviews and we’ll take a quick hands-on. The phone is the first Android 2.3 gingerbread phone out there with a 1 GHz processor and 16 GB of internal memory.
