Announce just a little over 1 year ago we now have our hands on the Nintendo 3DS. I start off our 3DS adventure with an unboxing, setup and first impressions.

Recently announced and coming to AT&T in the US as the Thrill 4G the Optimus 3D is the first 3D phone from LG.
Ars Technica put the 3DS to the battery test which many were hoping the estimated 4-5 hours gameplay time would be extended far beyond it with tweaking but Ars Technica has found that to not be the case.

Face Raiders is another AR game for the Nintendo 3DS that will come pre-installed in the system. The game will "capture" your face and you have to shoot down all the enemies that have your face on it. It takes advantage of the gyro sensor and the rear facing camera as it will grab faces [...]

The Nintendo 3DS will come with Augmented reality based games. This game we are playing here is called AR games and will be preinstalled in the system. In the demo the game takes advantage of both front and rear cameras. You will get 6 AR cards to start off with included in the system.

Steel Diver is another launch game for the 3DS that takes advantage of the gyro sensor inside the 3DS to use the screen as a real periscope.

At PAX East we got some hands on time with another 3DS title that is one of Nintendo’s oldest franchises making a comeback Pilotwings Resort.

At PAX East 2011 we go into battle with the Resident Evil zombies in 3D with Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D.
