So it’s finally here the and it’s the first phone that will be coming with Ice Cream Sandwich. The phone comes with pretty impressive specs that will compete well with the rest of the smartphone market and Ice Cream Sandwich looks to keep pushing ahead as a mobile OS market leader. Check the quick specs and video below.

Galaxy Nexus Quick Specs Overview:

  • The 4.65 inch Display with 1280 x 720 resolution will dominate all other cell phone screens for a while
  • 1.2 GHz TI OMAP Dual-Core processor keeps up with the competition and I’m sure 4.0 is optimized for dual-core processor so it should run smooth and with 1 GB of ram you can run plenty of apps and multitask well. Storage is plenty with 16 GB or 32 GB options.
  • The 5 Megapixel camera is low on the megapixel side but if it has a good lens that shouldn’t be too much of a problem. Also comes with continuous shot and zero shutter lag to take multiple pictures fast and LED flash and 1080p HD video capture at 30 FPS that I hope the audio quality matches the video quality.
  • NFC Support should get more Google Wallet users out there. Also standard wireless connection with Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n at either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz
  • Its thinnest point is 8.94 mm and weights in around 135g it should satisfy the thin and light smartphone fans out there.
  • 1750 MAh battery is big but we’ll need to do some testing with the new OS to see how well the battery stands up.
  • Coming out with Support for both and should satisfy US carriers which no official US carrier announced as of yet.
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will make this phone stand out from the rest for a while.
