A few days ago Samsung announced their first ever Window Phone 8 device the ATIV Odyssey. This mid tier WP8 phone comes packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual core chip running at 1.5 GHz and 1 gb of RAM. It sports a 4″ Super AMOLED screen with 8 gb of internal memory and a micro SD cart slot for further expansion. Camera wise its got a pretty decent 5 MP rear camera with 1080p recording capabilities and a 1.2 MP front facing camera for chatting apps. One of the big advantages this phone has over some other WP8 that i’ve seen is its large capacity battery, rated at 2100mAh it supposedly can run 13 hours on a single charge. And seeing how its a world phone running on Verizon with 4G LTE you’ll be glad to have that big battery for all day use without having to carry around a spare charger. This is my first WP8 to test so i’m excited to put it through its paces and have a thorough review out soon!
