As most people know by now the iPhone 4G prototype until was ‘found” and pictures and video were posted by Gizmodo who purchased the device from the person that “found it.” Also the information was release about the Apple employee who lost the device. There has been a lot of talks about checkbook journalism, ethics and integrity from all the fallout of this story.
As you will see in the video below there is some ethical lines that have been crosses when the iPhone 4G and the information of the Apple employee who lost the devices was posted on Gizmodo, I feel these types of things hurt the image of tech blogs and YouTube channels such as ourselves. We didn’t post a story about it when it was first leaked out as the integrity of how the story came proved to be not done in the most ethical way.
