We finally have a release date and price for the Nintendo 3DS. It will be hitting stores on March 27 and will be selling for a suggested retail price of $249. Read on for more about how Nintendo is going to revolutionize 3D gaming.
The 3DS will initially launch in two colors, aqua blue and obsidian black. It will include a 2GB SD car and you can upgrade to higher storage if needed. It will also come bundled with a charging cradle that will allow it to stay in sleep mode without worrying about losing battery life.
30 plus titles are expected to be available at launch and classic Nintendo staples will be available such as PilotWings Resort, Nintendogs + Cats, The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time 3D, Kid Icarus Uprising and more.

- Dead or Alive: Dimensions
- Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D
- Super Street Figher IV 3D Edition
- Ridge Racer 3D
- Kid Icarus Uprising
- Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars
- Asphalt 3D
- The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time 3D
- Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D
- Resident Evil
- PilotWings Resort
- Nintendogs + Cats
- The Mercenaries 3D
There is also a new Mii Maker which will take a picture of you and create a Mii look alike and you can swap Mii between 3DSs using Streetpass.
There will be an enhanced browser on the 3DS and you will have availability to the Virtual Console where you will be able to grab Game Boy and Game Boy advanced games.
