This year twitter was the big social network boom of 2009 and as we look into 2010 what will be the next big boom for social networking. I believe that it will be an old technology that we use all the time and will finally make that leap into major social networking. Its GPS!
I believe that GPS while it has been around for what seems like forever we haven’t used its full potential in a social networking aspect. There are many useful was to implement this and sites like Foursqaure are trying to make this happen with its ability to share your GPS location and track where your friends are and even put up points for Geocaching and earn points and badges for finding stuff its definitely a great way to add the social aspect to GPS.
