This is a media permissions error

Go to OPTIONS, then ADVANCED OPTIONS, APPLICATIONS select YOUTUBE app press blackberry button select EDIT PERMISSIONS, select INTERACTIONS and set to ALLOW.

When I first installed the youtube app on my BB Storm, it worked great. After about a few days, the app began to freeze. I tried uninstall and re-install today and no luck. Checked the app. permissions and no luck. When I bring the app up … the keyboard is displayed and I can’t scroll thru the terms of service nor get the menu button (BB button) to respond.

Very nice these tutorials, I appreciate your videos at the utmost, but yes here it comes, I would really appreciate if you would have a better recording settings…so your recordings of these tutorials like the one now on youtube about:How To Install Youtube App On Blackberry Storm 9500/9530 – BWOne.com ….. would be not only hearing because the video is not viewable… bad really bad. Can’t make out almost nothing what is going on. Sorry, and please make it better for everybody to see what your doing. Without a good video to show it’s worthless to watch the way you have it now. Thank you for this. Apreciated in advance….LOL….serious.

Thank you for your comments and observations. As time goes on equipment used to do these videos have been upgrade since from the time of the video you are referring too. Youtube has changed settings as well to allow much more higher quality videos than in the past. All videos done from BWOne.com are now in HD. Not too many have complained about the video quality in older videos since its a given to most that getting higher quality on videos back then were difficult to master given Youtube constraints. Please see newer videos as equipment we used has improved and youtube has allowed HD and higher bitrates to be uploaded.

Did anyone get past the message when actually trying to play a video:
PlayerException: Error Initializing media. Cause: javax.microedition.media.MediaException: Error initializing media.
I have tried playing with the application permissions as suggested above, but without success.
    Any ideas?

The logical step would be for them to start taking a much larger interest in the devices that are coming to their networks at the very beginning of the design phase. I don’t like it, but it’s perfectly logical from the “gotta get your money” point of view.
