Fix For Blackberry Storm Youtube Error

image11 Fix For Blackberry Storm Youtube Error There are some reports that users are having issues getting a java error when trying to use the for the storm.  In the comments on the post on the site a fix was posted. I have posted it on here for users to see if it works for them. Post a comment if this works for you.

This is a permissions error

Go to OPTIONS, then ADVANCED OPTIONS, APPLICATIONS select YOUTUBE app press blackberry button select EDIT PERMISSIONS, select INTERACTIONS and set to ALLOW.

    I edited permission to Allow from the get go and it keeps giving me an error too!this is my 2nd time downloading it to my BB Storm 9530.I love the app except for that error
    Hopefully you can fix it
    Do you know of any really neat games for the Storm?please email me,thanx

    I have problem when I try to use the youtube app
    When I open the app ,opens with the keyboard always and for some reason u can’t close the keyboard at all. I even uninstalled the this app over and over but the keyboard nevers go’s away. Its like the app completely broke after I used ur technique. Ply help me

    all of my permissions are set to allow. this is not the fix. this just started happening one day when nothing was changed on my phone, whatsoever.

    To all on this board… i have recently updated my storm to os 4.7.0.141 and i downloaded the youtube app and it works just fine… when i had 4.7.0.75 i had the same error as all of you… but after updating my storm and redownloading this app it works just fine… hopefully it continues working because this is how it started last time and all of a sudden it stopped working.

    I also keep on getting error:
    PlayerException: Error Initializing media. Cause: javax.microedition.media.MediaException: Error initializing media.

    I’m just wondering if this is not caused by the provider blocking streaming…could that be the source of this error?

    I can’t get past the screen called “Terms of use” it says connecting yet it never connects. I go to regular browser and open youtube videos and it says it can’t play this kind of media. Please someone help me. A phone full of codecs and decoders is what these companies need to be looking into.

    I’ve had this app since it came out for the STORM 9530 and I love it!

    My questions are now that the 5.0 update is out will the app be updated to 5.0 and now that the STORM2 9550 is out will this app work on it or is there a STORM2 version coming

      I’m not sure as I don’t have the Storm anymore. But knowing Blackberry a small change in thier OS could make or break apps
