Lingerie a fashion term for the female undergarment, which was derived from the French word ?Lin? (which referred to undergarments for both sex). In today?s world and in the English Language lingerie is used only for female undergarments, which are designed to give an erotic and arousing appeal. Having this in mind consider where we began with female undergarments back in the medieval times were women wore close fitting undergarments called ?chemise? (it is a simple garment worn next to the skin to protect clothing from sweat and body oils)…….
