enTourage eDGe the makers of the DualBook made a big splash a CES 2010 and were at CEA Line Show 2010 to give us a more in-depth look at the enTourage eDGe DualBook. So of course read on for pics and video inside.
The enTourage eDGe DualBook is one part e-reader and one part Android tablet merging the two together to give you a merger of the internet and information all in one device. Aimed at the education market the dual book allows you to read books and articles on the e-reader and write on the 9.7 inch screen with a wacom table underneath to use a stylus to make note and copy text which you then can take over to the android 1.6 with a 10.1 resistive touch screen side of the tablet to allow you to do further research wit the power of the internet and attach links to a specific excerpt you made in the article on the e-reader. You can also attach multimedia files such as music and video to later reference.
The eDGe comes with wi-fi, Bluetooth and a sim card slot but no official carrier has been announced yet. They are currently working on video out capabilities as well. The eDGe currently retails for $499.99 and is available on their website www.enTourageeDGe.com
